Encuentros 2010


The organizing committee is composed of 7 young researchers and professionals of complementary background and skills. All of them are members of RedCiencia. The five principal organizers are:

All principal organizers have either full-time or part-time positions in RedCiencia and are investing a significant part of their free time to make this Conference come to life. Matías Hernández and Cristián Hernández were part of the Encuentros 2009 organizing committee. Filippo Pacciarini, who is based in Cambridge, will coordinate and supervise logistical operations onsite. All three principal organizers are involved in coordinating the program, funding and budget, advertisement, and website management. Additionally, four members of RedCiencia assist the principal organizers and are involved in fund raising, advertisement and creation of the conference program. 

In the name of the University of Cambridge, the collaborators in this project are Dr. Christopher Lowe (Director of the Institute of Biotechnology), Alan Barrel (Professor of the Cambridge Entrepreneurship Center) and Dr. William Bains (Assistant Professor).
