Registration is closed!!!!

If you are already registered and wish to update your info or edit your abstract, please log-in here.

Accommodation:

Accommodation will be at Robinson College and consists of single ensuite rooms. For more information and a 3D view of the rooms available at the Conference Center please visit here.

The conference registration fee includes two nights at Robinson College (full board: breakfasts, Thursday's lunch and Wednesday's dinner).

If you would like to book accommodation for the night previous to the conference or the night at the end of the conference, we advise you to contact the college directly, for more information about Robinson College, please visit here.

Note for those accompanying participants:

Participants who wish to bring along their partners to the conference and stay at Robinson College are allowed to do so but are liable to pay non-academic fees.  This is mainly because the accompanying person takes up the place of a potential participant, and so should be treated for organizational purposes as a participant.  Thus, partners should register as a normal non-academic participant. Please bear in mind that rooms are equiped with single beds, however, you should send an e-mail to info@encuentros2010.org to inform us who is your accompanying person, in this way we can assign to you and your partner two single ensuite rooms which are internally connected.

Travel grants:

The Encuentros 2010 team is currently actively involved in obtaining travel grants to attend the meeting. Please indicate upon registration by clicking the relevant box if you would like to be considered for a travel grant in the case funding is secured.  More information will be posted on the website, please check the Encuentros 2010 website regularly!

Additional activities (Not included in the conference fee):

Formal Hall Dinner: This is the traditional meal held at some of the older universities in the United Kingdom at which students dress in formal attire and often wear gowns to dine. These dinners are held commonly in the colleges of Oxford and Cambridge.

Punting trip on the River Cam: Punting along the River Cam is one of the traditional delights of visiting Cambridge, and something that should be tried - at least once - by everyone!. A punt is a narrow flat-bottomed boat that somewhat resembles a Venetian gondola. Punts generally seat up to four adults while a fifth person stands at the rear and propels the boat with a long pole.
